Day1

Hangzhou Arrival

Attractions:Airport Transfer (Hangzhou), Lingyin Temple, Six Harmonies Pagoda

The daily tour starts at the Lingyin Temple. This Buddhist temple is one of the most important in China and it is famous for various precious items that are kept there. Additional curiosity is the set of over 470 Buddhist figures carved in stone that is placed there. Those carvings are all made between 10th and 14th century. The second stop of the day is the Six Harmonies Pagoda or in Chinese the Liuhe pagoda. This building is outside the city on the bank of the Qiantang River. It is one of the most important pagodas in China and it is a perfect example of the Chinese architecture with its combination of bricks and wood. It is a very old structure since it was built in 970 AD. The daily itinerary ends with a lunch at Zhi Wei Guan Restaurant. This restaurant has won several very prestigious international awards and it is a perfect place to taste some very specific local dishes. The pleasure is guaranteed here. Hangzhou Departure

Attractions:The West Lake(including the Island on the lake), Meijiawu Tea Plantation and Tea Shop, Hotel to airport Transfer (Hangzhou)

West Lake

The day starts at the West Lake. This is a rather peaceful and beautiful place since there is almost no traffic in this area and the place is pretty nicely arranged. There is also an island on the lake and the daily itinerary allows visit to it as well. The whole place is full of classic Chinese details and visiting it will definitely be a worthy experience. Before the tour continues, you will be served a lunch at the Zhang Sheng Ji Restaurant. This restaurant is pretty well known for sticking to the traditional recipes and here you will have the chance to taste dishes that are made without using any fancy spices. The final stop of the day is the Meijiawu Tea Shop and Tea Plantation. This is a place where you will be able to see how the tea is grown, harvested, processed and marketed. Simply said, it is all about tea. Since the tea is one of the most important and most famous things about China, the experience will be more than rewarding. You will also have the chance to taste the tea and to buy some in the shop that is within the complex. After this, the tour is finished and you will be transported to the airport. This tour is suitable for travel all year round, May, September and October are the peak tourist months at China's most popular destinations when the weather is comparatively comfortable, but prices are higher, and everywhere is more crowded. Prices drop a bit in the shoulder season, which runs from late March through April and from June through August.
