Another positive point is about the travelling conditions: small group, comfortable , friendly atmosphere where people are free to decide and enjoy. I have travelled a lot in China in all sorts of situation and often everything is either too fast or not your interest or time-wasted.

Dear Vanessa,

Guizhou and the minority villages, the landscape in the mountains,Li river and Jiuzhaigou are the most memorable attractions we visited. As mentioned above, the shows were absolutely wonderful and a must if you want to know about china and the culture. Personally I already knew about them and had seen some before but for people who don't know China it is an eye -opener: for example, my sister and brother discovered a different side of China, which gave them a positive vision, differnet from what you read generally. What we appreciated is the fact that we were in the country, with real people not only with tourists and not after the touristic sights. Although we like Beijing, Nanjing, Shanghai, it is also very important to know more about the provinces: personally I am very attracted by provinces like guizhou and guanxi which have so much character and personality.

Another positive point is about the travelling conditions: small group, comfortable , friendly atmosphere where people are free to decide and enjoy. I have travelled a lot in China in all sorts of situation and often everything is either too fast or not your interest or time-wasted.

For the guide, factually, we appreciated two of them: Jenny, pleasant, helpful and always ready with good suggestions; and Lucas who was also a very easy person, interesting, friendly. and since he spoke French, my brother liked him a lot. But the language was not a problem and we had jokes between French and English. For the drivers, they provide a safe, comfortable experience, even in bad road conditions.

Aiyuan hotel in Yangshuo was a pleasant experience: the comfort, the concept, the breakfast, Ramada Plaza in Guyang, Lhasa Grand hotel in Chengdu but also zhaoxing hotel: simple but lovely with the wooden construction in a lovely village and so well adapted to the vilalge

We did go shopping; I know China already but we loved going to the small shops and bargain. The big shops are interesting but I think not everybody is always ready to buy the most expensive items like the embroidery in Chengdu. and we felt that people were probably expexting us to buy.

We loved the show in Yangshuo - something not to be missed, the night cruise in Guilin, the Opera in Chengdu Tea house and the Tibetan dance show in jiuzhaigou. Those are wonderful attractions to help you to know about Chinese culture .

Certainly, we will recommend you to our friends or colleagues.

Regards,

Armelle
