FRANCES's Feedback on 19-Day China Tour

Dear Vanessa,

I have been meaning to write, but just waiting to get over jet lag and a cold I developed 3 days before the cruise was over! But am much better now.

The trip in China was terrific. The guides we had were wonderful, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Especially Jerry in Beijing. He went above and beyond being helpful with tours and especially making arrangements for our transport and luggage on the train from Beijing to Shanghai. He coordinated everything with the guide in Shanghai and even made arrangements for a porter to meet us at the train car in Shanghai to get our luggage. I am not sure how we would have managed without him!!! Also Sophia in Xian went above and beyond meeting us at the train almost 3 hours late arriving around midnight. She knew we had not eaten so made a stop at an open KFC to get us food. And then she picked us up early the next morning to see the Terra Cotta Warriors. She was very knowledgeable about the excavation. Also all the drivers were exceptional and courteous.

As you know, we were a group of 6 and all the needs were taken into consideration. The arrangements you made for us were terrific. The hotels were beautiful. All the guides were always on time. Also if we decided to make a change in the plan, they always did their best to ?go with the flow? and change the plan.

My only criticism has to do with a port that was chosen by Holland America. There was not a lot to see in Qingdao except the beer factory. Susie did her best but she was working with a limited number of interesting tourist places in that city.

All in all the trip was great and that is in part because of your terrific planning and attention to detail. And you never hesitated to make changes in the plan over the months before the trip. When traveling this far, you never know what to except. This was our third trip with your company and we recommend you and your company whenever we can. You can always expect the best. You guys are great!!!
