Dear Vanessa,

The trip was very enjoyable and interesting.
For me the highlights were as follows:

The show in Xian
The Buddhist temple in Xian
The Mosque in Xian
The visit to the fisherman's boat and the 'hidden gem village' (hang Tao?) near Guilin.
The visit to Mrs Li's house in the village near Yangshuo

By far the main factor in me enjoying my trip was the guide LiLi in Guilin. She was excellent and I really enjoyed having conversations with her about a whole range of things. Her sense of humour is good as are her communication skills. She added great value for me.
