Sorry we've been so tardy in getting back to you but at last we'd like to say a BIG thankyou to you and your wonderful guides:everything went extremely smoothly and the accommodation,food,etc.were more than acceptable.The standouts for us in Guanxi were the rice terraces at Longsheng,(we were so lucky with the weather!), the Li River cruise and the drive back through the gorgeous countryside around Yangshuo back to Guilin. The Yunnan section of our trip was amazing,especially our time in Dali where our guide Nancy was most helpful and courteous- a real treasure! We really enjoyed being in the wide open spaces out from Lijiang to Shangri-la plus the sunshine and clear air.We also loved the cultural diversity of the different ethnic groups- Helen loved all the different clothes and especially the fabrics they were made of we returned with many stunning examples from each place we visited. Our last stopover in Chengdu was an ideal way to finish off: how could we not stop off on our way home to see the Pandas when we were so close! Thanks again for being able to alter our schedule at short notice to fit this in! Once again, a big 'thumbs up' to you all: we will definitely be recommending you and your company to our friends who will be coming to China later this year.
