The last minute change in Guilin to see the Jiangtou Village of Jiuwu Town worked out very nicely. It gave us a chance to see some of the countryside and the small towns and villages which was a nice contrast to the large cities. We recommend including it for other people. It is not far and will show them the types of communities where the majority of the people live.

We are back and well. I just want to let you know that our trip went very well and we had a great time. The arrangements worked out well, we made all the connections, saw want we wanted to see and ate some very good Chinese food.

The guides we had were all very good. Lucy in Beijing and Echo in Xi'an were especially helpful with their knowledge of Chinese history and how it related to what we were seeing.
