Tour Title: 11 Days Beijing, Xian, Guilin, Shanghai Tour |
Vaness,
On reflection, it was our best tour itinerary.
The most memorable attraction is Guillin, Li River Cruise. Tracy was the most outstanding tour guide. She was more personable that the other guides and did not just rattle off dates and events and statistics. She had a lot of knowledge and seemed to be genuinely happy with people and her job. All the drivers were great, timely, responsible and very polite. Could not even give you a favorite one. The hotels were really good and clean excpet the hotel in Shanghai. The staff was very friendly and help full. The best hotel was the one in Beijing. It was everything you would want from a hotel.
We shopped very little. All your customers should be warned not to get coffee at the Xian airport. Due to other people in our group we were dropped early at the airport and had 6 hours until departure. The coffee we bought was higher in price than the most expensive one that we ever had in Venice. We found it unbelievable that they charged us 152 yuan for 2 cups.(no refills)
The most impressive things to see was the silk art that we saw in Xian (Imperial Fine Arts Center, I believe)as well as the tea plantation. It taught a lot about tea quality and the tea ceremony was awesome, they made us 'WoW'.
I would recommend your company. You prizes are reasonable and your service was prompt and dependable. The guides were all friendly and knowledgeable.
Our favorite restaurant was the dumpling restaurant in Xian. The standard of the meals we received was good. Unfortunately we don't care very much for the flavors and spices used in Chinese cooking. But for people who enjoy spicy and stir fry foods it was very good.
I have some suggestions, the ladies should keep (Camping rolls) of toilette paper in their purses. If you need a change in food, the Pizza Huts in china are awesome.
Regards,
Ute
