Tour Title: 4 Days Guangzhou, Guilin, Yangshuo, Longsheng, Hong Kong Tour |
Hi Vanessa,
We both loved our tour we did with your company! My favorite part was the li river cruise, it was like being inside a painting, while Dave enjoyed the trip into the small farming town we did after it. We went into the rice fields and we met a lady who was feeding her cows, he loved it.
We loved our free time the area you had us in had a lot to offer. Lots of shops/markets and different types of restaurants but our favorite place was the lake with the gold and silver pagodas, we went there each night for a walk. And actually it will forever hold a special place in my heart as we got engaged there as well!!
We went to the night market, and enjoyed it a lot, however we did not go to any of the shows.
Our guides (Sam & Sohpie) did make lots of suggestions for us, where to get more 'western style' food, told us about the shows we could see and how to get to the lake the first night - which as I mentioned we loved.
Our wow moments were many in Guilin, it is such a beautiful city. The Li river was one for sure, it is like a painting there almost unreal. The other wow moment was at the top of the rice fields, it was so beautiful and amazing what those people had done.
Guilin was better then I imagined! Right from the drive in from the airport it was beautiful. Our cities in Canada are much smaller then those in china, and even tho Guilin is a smaller city it still it big to us.
I would recommend your company in a heart beat. In fact I have given my sister Sophie's email, my sister is a travel agent and had not heard of you so I am setting up a link for you in our small part of the world hopefully it will lead to more clients from Canada. Sam and Sophie were so friendly and knowledgeable, they were always on time and made us feel at home from the moment we got there.
We had a great time and will recommend you to our friends for sure. We will be back to Guilin for sure one day we just loved it, Sam was a great guide and had lots of information for us, and could always answer our questions. Sophie was a great addition to the trip as well she was lots of fun and like to explain the little things about her country which was really interesting. We loved having them both along with us. The only thing we would have liked is a more western style breakfast at the hotel. A small thing but it would be a nice change, as well we probably could have done elephant hill and fubo park on our own. They were super close to our hotel and we would have been fine on our own, but then we are pretty independent travelers :)
Thanks for everything,
Kristin & Dave
