I have worked with many travel agents in planning these trips. But I have never worked with anyone who worked as flawlessly with me as Vanessa. She is superb at the most essential quality of a superior guide—she is an amazing listener. She heard both our needs and our wants, and she then patiently gave us multiple options, over and over again. Eventually we planned together a perfect trip.

Dear Ms. Gong,

Since March I have been working with Vanessa to plan our trip to Guilin, Yangshuo, and Hong Kong. In the past fifteen years, my husband and I have traveled to many places in the world—South Africa, Peru, Greece, Japan, Russia, and Canada have been among our destinations on trips to North, Central, and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. I have worked with many travel agents in planning these trips. But I have never worked with anyone who worked as flawlessly with me as Vanessa. She is superb at the most essential quality of a superior guide—she is an amazing listener. She heard both our needs and our wants, and she then patiently gave us multiple options, over and over again. Eventually we planned together a perfect trip. We will be visiting Beijing, Xian, the Yangtze, and Shanghai before coming to Guilin. But it is our last six days in China, planned with Vanessa, that have us the most filled with excitement and anticipation.
