Sammi, you chose the hotels very well. The best hotel was Grand Noble in Xian with outstanding service and breakfast. The location of my Shanghai hotel was great. In both I had large, nice rooms.

The most memorable attraction I visited Shanghai is the Bund and the Shanghai Museum. The guide I like most is in Xian Miki, she was attentive, flexible, smart.The drivers provide a safe, comfortable experience.

The Yangtze Cruise ship was o.k. but could have been nicer.

I think private tours are great, as you are more likely to avoid that you get to the main attractions exatly the same time as all the tour groups.

Meanwhile, the phone rental service was great.

I will definitely recommend China highlights to my friends.
