Joan's Feedback on 4-Day China Tour

Client: Joan
Tour Date: April 24, 2011 - April 27, 2011
Tour Title: 4 Days Beijing Tour
About the guide,Yes, Geoff was a mine of information about history, art, culture, society, language, food, restaurants, public transport and shopping –everything that we wanted to know. Although we perceived that Beijing is a safe city to explore, and we are used to independent travel, we would not have enjoyed the experience half as much without Geoff’s extensive knowledge and amusing company. He really is an outstanding guide and his input made the trip for us.

To supervisor:

Dear Ms Angela Gong,

I would like to show my appreciation of the service, and attention to detail, provided by your company representative, Ms Sammi Dai, in organizing our 4 day stop over in Bejing. Her replies were prompt and she gave us every confidence that things would go smoothly. We really enjoyed the trip and everything went exactly as stated in the information provided by Sammi.

We shall have no hesitation in recommending the service provided by your company.

Kind regards,

Joan and Lothar

To travel advisor:

Dear Sammi,

Thank you for help in making our trip to Bejing so easy and enjoyable. I have given feedback on your service. Here are our thoughts about the overall experience:

All the attractions were memorable. We loved them all, but the order that we enjoyed most would probably be: Forbidden City, Great Wall, Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven. The Hutong visit was a different sort of experience, but the tour would have been incomplete without it as we now have a greater understanding of how one section of Beijing society live. We really appreciated being able to visit the home of Mr and Mrs Lui. They were very hospitable and seemed pleased to answer our questions about life in the Hutong. The local guide also explained everything very well.

During our free time on Sunday, we visited the Llama Temple by train. Our guide, Geoff, gave excellent directions and we were able to experience being out and about with the local people with no trouble at all. We enjoyed walking through the gardens and mingling with the weekend crowds, and would recommend this as a good thing to do during free time. We also found the strange food on display at the night market to be very interesting, and suggest this is an experience that should not be missed. However, we did not try any live scorpions!

The site that makes us 'WoW',I would say that it was the shear vastness of the Forbidden City, and actually standing on the Great Wall (we have been amazed by this since childhood and never imagined that we would ever be experiencing it up close!).

We would not hesitate to recommend your company. We have already talked to a lot of people, who will get in touch with us if they are visiting China.

Joan
