Beth's Feedback on 13-Day China Tour

Dear Leon,

It was a fabulous trip and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.  The arrangements all worked very well and the transportation and hotels were excellent.

Our favorite was the Great Wall - the more remote, steeper portion was perfect for our family and we hiked for about two hours and had a fabulous view.  Our first tour guide in Beijing was probably our favorite, but all were very good.  She really engaged us in conversation, was interested in us personally, and was very flexible on what we wanted to see and do.  Some of the others had more of a rehearsed speech and were good about sharing the facts, but note quite a good at actually having a conversation.

However all were very nice and friendly. 

The historic town of Ping Yao was fascinating and the hotel there was very interesting as the representative of the old style.  We loved sitting in the courtyard and enjoying tea, although the breakfast and beds were the least favorite among the trip.

The boat, trains and planes were all fine and the gorges were absolute fabulous with great visibility and the dam was very impressive.

Overall a trip to remember.
