Lorraine's Feedback on 5-Day China Tour

We loved Lucia in Guangzhou...she was the perfect guide. We also enjoyed Helen in Hong Kong....she is full of information, knows everything historically and currently about the great places we visited.

Choosing China Highlights was the best decision we made...

We loved Lucia in Guangzhou...she was the perfect guide. We especially enjoyed: the Pearl River Cruise...beautiful;

the Tombs of the Nanyue Kings was very moving

wonderful artisans at the Chen Family Memorial (where we bought lovely things)

We learned so much about China! Lucia brought us to a terrific restaurant (a fish market and restaurant with lots of small dining areas so we felt comfortable). She helped us order wonderful food (especially loved the osmanthus jelly and sweet bean dessert) and the terrific Puerh tea. Loved it!

We also enjoyed Helen in Hong Kong....she is full of information, knows everything historically and currently about the great places we visited. The best part of our two day tour of Hong Kong and Kowloon were:

Hong Kong local antique street (Cat Street?)

Hong Kong side local market street with all the fruits, vegetable, meat and fish stalls

Kowloon Flower market

Kowloon Bird market...wonderful!

LIttle Kowloon park with the architectural exhibit of traditional Chinese building techniques and the amazing variety of bonsais

Dim Sum restaurant at the Peak (not the Pearl)...it was an opportunity to try some local specialties like roasted pork, goose, and rice rolls with XO sauce

Helen also helped us change our train reservations and the pick up time in Guangzhou. Your drivers were also excellent. I especially liked the SUVs they drove with sunroof so we could see all around. I'm very impressed with the thoughtfulness and coordination of your team....Please feel free to use anything I say in your promotional materials.
