Tour Title: 8 Days Guilin, Longsheng, Yangshuo, Hong Kong Tour
We were most impressed in Longsheng, it was a remarkable place. It is impressive to see what hard work must have been put into the making of the terrasses.

Hi Leon,

There were many memorable attractions, but we did enjoy our stay in Longsheng tremendously. The terrassefields and the village was beyond our expectations. Our Guide Lu Pong was very helpful and we enjoyd his company. The weather was unfortunately wet and foggy the first day and therefor disappointing, but day two turned out to be warm and sunny for the first time in a month, so we were extremely lucky. We also appresiated our stay in Yang Shuo, it was a very nice little town. We were most impressed in Longsheng, it was a remarkable place. It is impressive to see what hard work must have been put into the making of the terrasses. It was also interesting to see that this work is still going on. The village people was surprisingly welcomming, and that of course made the stay even better.

I have already recommended a visit to this area to many friends. Our guide Lu Pong gave us information about living conditions and history, but we would recommend that travellers read about the local people and treir history before they go. I personally will try to learn about building constructions and traditions.

We found the recommended restaurants very good, but we wanted also to try restaurants that was not on the list. A couple of the ones we tried was not good, so it is probably best to stick to your recommendations. Lu Pong recommended Li river night show in Yang Shuo, that was fantastic and well worth the price and time, thanks to him for that. Our guide was just the kind of guide we wanted, polite and informative. We invited him to come and stay with our family in Norway. We used most of his recommendations, and they made the tour more memorable.
