Wendy's Feedback on 11-Day China Tour

Wow - what a trip! Although I've travelled quite a bit, this was my first tour package, and it was absolutely amazing! If you have anyone who says they're a nervous passenger, I highly recommend Mr Wu (our driver in Beijing). He got us everywhere we wanted to go quickly, safely and courteously. I found the traffic in Beijing was a little insane, but felt very safe with him driving. Please pass this on to him. All of our drivers were very good, but he stood out as exceptional.

Each of our guides brought something unique to the trip as well. And they each had to quickly adjust the itinerary due to various closures and delays. Sisi dealt with the Tiananmen Square temporary closure due to a marathon (so we rescheduled to later in the day); closure of the gardens at the Summer Palace and cancellation of the boat ride there as well; and temporary closure of the Olympic location due to the marathon. Mark quickly adapted when I 'took over the tour' at Yangshuo. He followed along until I found the places I needed to see from our last visit there, then he resumed control of the tour. He also allowed me to ride with him on the electric bikes when I panicked about driving one myself. Thanks Mark. Fiona had to adjust to the closure (for the day) of the planning center, and the long line at the museum.

The 5-star accommodation was fabulous. We took advantage of the pools, saunas, spas and buffet breakfasts.

As for where we went, and what we saw during the trip, I still can't get over how much we crammed in. The history, the scenery, the culture, the food, the shows... I'm still recovering! I will be highly recommending China Highlights to everyone who is considering a trip to China.

I can't think of a single thing to improve. Well Done!
