We were concerned that the arrangements would be too rigid. However it was fine. As an example of this flexibility we were both suffering from a heavy head cold and chest infection in Huangshan. The local guide managed to make alternate accommodation arrangements, shuffle the itinerary and allow us a day of bed rest. Thank you also for the birthday greeting. It was a fine example of attention to detail and an unexpected pleasure.

The purpose of my email is to report that we have completed our tour. We had a grand time and extend our thanks to you and the staff at China Highlights.

Our trip was entirely satisfactory. The guides assigned to us provided the services we required without exception. In most cases they were excellent guides, competent in English, easy to get on with and above all they were flexible. In the past we have travelled extensibly and usually prefer to travel solo, hire local guides and arrange our own itinerary. For this trip we decided to use a tour company. It was a fine example of attention to detail and an unexpected pleasure. The hotels selected were to our expectation and requirements. The very fast train Shanghai to Beijing was an unexpected bonus and should be included as a suggestion to other tourists. We have no complaints.

Our next tour of China will include the Southern provinces and your Guilin countryside. Thank you for an excellent experience.
