Diego's Feedback on 15-Day China Tour

There were none of the usual stresses that come with traveling in a country where you can't speak or even read the language. All our guides arrived on time, helped us get checked in at our hotels and on our flights. They were flexible and great fun. In fact, one of the highlights of our trip was getting to know our guides. If we had traveled on our own or in a big group, we would have never had the opportunity to meet locals and learn about their lives, interests, and views on the world.

Dear Leon and Fiona,

I wanted to let you both know how nice it was to meet you at the China Highlights office. Diego and I had a wonderful time in China. Our trip was perfectly organized and managed. Thank you so much for all your hard work to give us the China experience we had hoped for.

I also wanted to let you know that all of our guides were excellent. Mark was enthusiastic, flexible and helped our first couple of days in Mainland China be very memorable! Java was fun, friendly and very professional and gave us a great tour of Chengdu in our short time there, plus helped us seamlessly navigate our way around the crowds at the Panda center! Datso was an amazing source of information on Tibetan culture and religion, and her laugh and great attitude were contagious! Rainy was remarkably knowledgeable about Chinese history (all the dynasties and historic periods) and culture; she really was a wealth of information and gave in depth answers to our many questions! Ada was fun and friendly and guided us around the enormous city of Shanghai seamlessly, plus helped us arrange reservations for a special dinner at a specific restaurant we had wanted to go to. Steven was great. I was very sick in Beijing and he helped us rearrange our schedule so that I could spend a day resting in the hotel (while Diego still got to go out and have fun) and still not miss the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, or the other sights I really wanted to see. Our drivers were all very good and safe as well. What a luxury to have such experienced, private drivers! Overall we had an amazing time in China.
