We had many agencies to select from, especially when our friends who just returned recommended an agency in XIan. We also could have used American Express Platinum Club to handle our booking. But why would we? The service Leon has rendered so far is better than some of our best agencies. Imagine how hard it is for 2 fussy independent Americans to trust an unknown internet travel agency in a country which has a reputation for not being very accommodating to fussy tourists. Well..did Leon surprise us! We have explored most luxury agencies including Abercrombie and Kent, Tauck, and several of Forbes and Travel & Leisure (our travel magazines) recommended agencies but decided to do a private trip.
